We provide sport for pupils who are budding Olympians, those who want to try something new, or those who enjoy sport at a non-competitive level. A healthy lifestyle is central to our offer at Wycliffe, and all pupils will participate in sporting activities.

Wycliffe Rowing coaching success has led pupils to GB trials and US university entrance. The girls team won at Henley in summer 2024.
Pupil’s excelling in Wycliffe’s Squash programme have been awarded US university scholarships. We have been one of the top colleges for Squash for many years.
Our Rugby programme channels players through Excel and England Academy ranks.
Having the Academy held on-site boosts Wycliffe’s own netball players.
Tony Wilburn, ex-USA league player, leads our outstanding Basketball programme which attracts pupils from around the world.
Hockey programme supports all – beginners to elite players.

Sports facilities are excellent, particularly for girls. Girls’ cricket pitch sits alongside boys’. Two indoor netball courts plus Astro. Plans for a viewing pavilion overlooking Rugby and Football pitches. WASP (Wycliffe advanced sports programme) for scholars includes one-to-one coaching, strength and conditioning.
