What/Who inspired you to become a Headmaster?
Following a career in the Army, I became a teacher and Housemaster at a Boarding School in Oxfordshire. I enjoyed the opportunities that Boarding gave me to positively influence the lives of pupils and colleagues. I have worked with inspirational leaders and Heads, all of whom have demonstrated a wonderful sense of humanity, and in whose footsteps I now wish to follow.
What are you most proud of about your school?
Our pupils: they are kind, willing to embrace difference and display unassumed confidence. They leave us as resilient young people who know their place in society.
What attracted you to it?
Wycliffe College is nearly 150 years old but is not stuck in the past! I love the grounded unpretentiousness where everyone from the age of two to nineteen is known and valued.
