Lynn is a retired Prep School Headteacher. She graduated from the University of London with a degree in Biological Sciences and a PGCE in Science Education.

After 14 years teaching in a variety of comprehensive schools, she moved to the independent sector as Director of Studies in a London Prep School for boys. She spent the last 11 years of her career as Head of a large, co-educational Prep School and Executive of its three school Foundation.
She has chaired the governing body of a state comprehensive and for 15 years was a school inspector for the Independent School Inspectorate. Currently an Education Advisor and Consultant, she joined the Council in January 2017.
Lynn is a cricket enthusiast and keen traveller.
