Solar panels and electric cars aren’t the only ways in which Wycliffe are making changes to help the environment.

Our grounds team are key to carrying out our sustainability focus and it’s the little things that make a huge difference. The coffee grinds from the Griffin Café are used as a soil fertiliser as they are rich in nutrients and are perfect for helping the plants to grow.

The team have also set aside large areas across both sites for wilding and wildlife. The beds and flower boxes have been renovated with specific varieties that are favoured by bees and pollinators. Swapping from petrol to electric tools and vehicles where possible and using organic feeds and products across the site to ensure that we are pushing sustainability wherever we can.

We must take one step and a time, and we encourage you to come along with us.
