Simon, an OW, studied Estate Management at Reading University following which he joined a surveying practice in Birmingham, qualifying as a Chartered Surveyor in 1981.

Caroline graduated from Aberdeen University with an MA in Geography with Economics.

Will was educated at Charterhouse, studied Agricultural Sciences at Newcastle University and served in the British Army.
